SYNERGY LAB

Smart materials for energY storage, sensors, and NEuromoRphic computinG studY Lab

The 'SYNERGY' Lab is supervised by Dr. Shalu Rani, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. Our lab is dedicated to  the synthesis and development of emerging 2D materials and transition metal oxide materials to realize lightweight portable energy storage devices including supercapacitors and batteries, and Sensors for flexible, transparent, and cost-effective electronic devices and systems. 'SYNERGY' Lab is also devoted to providing novel micro/nanofabrication solutions for advanced Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS)-based resistive/capacitive sensors for gas sensing and biochemical sensing applications. Additionally, the 'SYNERGY' Lab is actively involved in conceptualizing and realizing energy/power-efficient high-performance analog and neuromorphic computing paradigms by developing 2/3 terminals Memristive/Resistive memory devices and their use in the 'Building of the Silicon brain', Synaptic Devices, Low power digital logic operations and many more.
